I've been on and off, mostly off, for years now. after high school, life got in the way, and I found myself lacking time for real-time games and even multi-day games. Outside of tournaments and lotto games, I've not played in a very long time. But I still play single-player games against the bots from time to time as well as idle. Perhaps it is time to play some more mulitday games again.
This is the only multi-player risk game I play, and out of all the others I have tried, it's by far the best. I wonder how many of the old crowds are still around.
I came for the games, stayed for the diplomacy, and now I'm coming back.

it's the perfect game i've never been a hardcore rpg player like cod or xbox or minecraft or even roblox i grew up on flash games and my favorite one of those was jelly go by avox games they went out of business in 2016 i believe, and i played the 75 levels over and over trying to get 3 stars on each i've played sim games like township and paradise island and dragon mania legends, but i always went back to jelly go one night playing jelly go (and i know that sounds cheesy but it was literally at night like 11 pm i think) i found warlight in the suggested games on silvergames.com, and i started, and i couldn't stop. it was such a break to play a game that i couldn't win yk. eventually i got tired of losing and i saw the link said smth like check out more levels and the community at warlight.com redirected to warzone.com (cuz it was 2019) and i played the single playre levels and they were slightly easier and so much fun made an account few days later and the multiplayer dashboard just blew my mind "there's finally a game that has everything perfect" dark mode customizable colors and tooons of maps the players were the coolest ever averyodinaryperson, axehat, enderz, ice twister, iwdrummer, otto von bismarck, awaythro, allianz91, tadashi, candy caned, kitler, kingcalum, king samarand, krinid, fish slayer, fizzer ofc, sydney sedlak, scarecrow, dan, darkking121, dorex time, zombieslayer, j0rd0s, joey davis lol, jk_3, rick sanchez, riskboy88, ukslayer9000, l4vrov, leichtensteiner, lord goku, loads of others very intelligent and skilled community here just too many awesome things in this game i never got bored i guess

Hey, guys. I played this in the past then i came back Recently. Good to be back. I don't know much about the backstory of this game. I just happened to find it 1 day while I was in high school on a whim. Seems like not a lot of people know about it. But I love it. Been about a decade since I found this game. PS are some of the players bots? I can never tell.

I've actually taken large breaks and come back a few times. This time seems to be sticking a bit more thanks to the steady progression of Idle and a few low-player-count games that are updating multiple times a day.
I'm also at a time in my life where I have ample time for taking a quick ~5 minute turn with my current job.
I found the game, I think, via Kongregate or a similar site and thought it neat, but not engaging at first. Then I found a plethora of Diplomacy games and ran a Multi-Game campaign with a friend. Those 2 things got me hooked for life.

I joined 16 years ago but I've taken large breaks...wish I had more time to play but life happens.
For me, it's the blend of tactics and strategy that makes the game interesting. Balancing unknowns, aggression vs expansion and the turns where there are no easy decisions. Add teamwork as another layer on top of all that and you have yourself a very fun mix of game mechanics.

Wow. Just realized my account is now a little over 5 years old. I guess I now qualify to post here.
Then again, this isn’t my first account. My first one or two have long vanished into the ether. I probably deleted them.
I found the original singleplayer game when I was 11-12 while scrolling through Armor Games. I’ve had a lifelong obsession with real world maps and also chess, as well as intellectual challenges, and I feel no other game has ever combined the aspects of all of these quite like Warlight has. Much like JK3 though, I likely would have gotten bored, and in fact did, were it not for the pleasant community tying me back to this game.
During this 5+ years, I have admittedly left on occasion, and more frequently been forced to leave thanks to parental dictatorship over my devices and internet access. But I’ve finally came back, and don’t think I’ll stop again. I’m more into the community here than I’ve ever been and better at the game than ever, and it’s addicting. In person community has just never been the same for me, and no matter what happens now that I’m 18 and finally free from the restrictions my parents placed upon me in the social area, I think friendship over the internet will always hold a special place in my heart for what it did to get me through hard times. That, with the ability to communicate with “in person” friends that I could only rarely see in person, was so often the only thing preventing the dark pain of isolation. I can truly state that I think I wouldn’t be alive today without it.
Love you Warlight and thank you Fizzer for your work

It's always been about maps. I learn about this game around 2014 as a standalone flash game in a games site on the internet, then found out it had its own site, so I went in, logged and created this very account. Always been a huge fan of maps and history, and the replayability of this game is so insanely good it always stuck. I always loved playing diplos and challenging scenarios, and stuck around quite a lot. Then I stopped playing real games and focused solely on diplos until I peaked 115 concurrent games. By that point 5 years ago I dropped the game for a while cause I was saturated and started studying for university, and now I'm back because it's always been so interesting and good to pass time and roleplay with the community. Its a really simple reason to me. Now Im really into team games to level up and be able to host much more complex games, but also because the competition level is really healthy and challenging enough, it's really good to see when I pull a move and works insanely good, or when teamwork gets you really far

It’s definitely the players for me I think it is so neat in this game how there is people you begin to trust and you remember them from your other games and you know that the only time they would ever betray you is in a role-play type situation and there would never be hard feelings in a role-play situation because he would totally understand when some of these games begin to go for 23 years you kind of grow a casual relationship with these people there is a player by the name of Zazzlegut i’ve been in a lot of games with and he is always the most chill and cool guy to work with. I is ally with him if I can that’s what makes this community so cool.
