I am not in favour of reducing this further and am especially concerned about reducing the boot times in team games.
I'd like to point out that each team has a total of 21 days of banked time that can be used strategically, and right now it's been my experience that most of it is still used on picks.

Picks is half of the game. If other players want to procrastinate, so be it. I want to use that time and managing teammates across timezones is not easy for those who genuinely work as a team.

I worked as a team with people that are in the Arizona timezone and unless you procrastinate, you don't need all that time.

Maybe you don't need that time

Maybe I need more, but rules are rules. My hope is to change those rules.

I think this is a decision of priorities. Do we want to grant whichever time will make the slowest player most comfortable, or whichever will make the average player most comfortable? You know how I would answer that, but I do understand the alternative view.

bodski is oldge, I have never once used banked other than all at pick stage simply procrastinating picking, and then minorly throughout the game if we needed to align timezones to discuss.

'oldge' compound word for older gentleman (one who deserves respect).

I bet an old gentleman would play faster if the boot times necessitated it.

We should at the very least get rid of banked time altogether for 1v1s, but even on team games I think people overexaggerate how much energy it takes to commit, you can make picks or gameplay decisions in <5 minutes. I still understand time zone issues though, so I'd probably keep 4 days banked for team games. (To give you a week on picks)

i think bank times were fine as they were. i don't need them but if others need them thats fine
