Give it time and listen to what he has to say.

Im going to restaurant A. i get my food after 20min and i find it disgusting and im going to complain about it. Result. i hate the restaurant. it has terrible food.
Now im going to restaurant B. i get my food only after 1hour. Im annoyed it took so long. But when i took a bite i find it deliscious. Result. It took long but it tasted rly f good.

Now tell me do you prefer A or B -,-

this is the same here. i dont care about how fast updates come. i care about how good i find them. and when i dont find them good i complain. everyone can have different opinions obviously.

nobody is acting like that. i mean if that would be the case then why is User Voice even a thing? i mean its not our game but Fizzer. i found this argument always dumb.

Suggestions =/= belittling the creator for making something you don’t want.

None of this outrage is warranted.

You compare a tiny change that doesn't affect your game experience to that of a whole meal being disgusting and your whole experience of the restaurant being ruined. These things aren't comparable.

and why frequent updates should never be the focus compared to quality. And thats what i did showing what happens when 1 game (restaurant) focuses speed and the other game (restaurant) focuses quality. this was to show why i cant agree with your

That's fair enough Joi, I just think you should give it a chance and see how it affects you long term. You might change your mind and see it as beneficial.

Sounds like a good update once it has been tweaked?

Sometimes you have a game where your opponent surrenders/boots and you could miss it if you weren't looking out for it.

I was kinda annoyed at first. Then I spent 10 minutes clearing my list. Now it's like nothing happened. I really don't see why everyone is all worked up about it. I also realized i probably looked like a douche in all those games where I never said gg after a game or got booted in a few qms i didnt realize. So in all I don't see what's bad about it besides a minor inconvenience. I will probably forget about that whole section except for seeing a few games are finished and say gg and analyze my game afterwards. It's a lot more beneficial than it looks

Also, did you guys forget the part of overhauling mapmaking which will make things a lot easier and better? It will be pretty useful for mapmakers and make maps faster than before.

Not to mention all the other small updates and changes and bugfixes and saying that "quality is better than quantity" is false when you look at the whole patch except for one section of a part of an update that honestly most people will forget in a week once they actually bother to spend a few minutes of their time to clear up their dashboard. So yeah I would recommend you guys take a moment before automatically calling for removing an update to actually see what is changed before ranting about it on the forums

I like the update. It was always annoying when finished games suddenly disappeared and I had to check the past games tab.

I guess the implementation is not ideal if people have 30 games randomly appear, but after they are dealt with it should be working pretty well.

Really people shouldn't be so outraged about such minor stuff.

For me the number of ongoing games is important and I don't care too much about ended games. Usually you get a notification in the app and know it anyway, if the game was important.

I agree, that for some it might be interesting to know, I just dislike the current way the feature is implemented. Would be cool to have an own tab and a button to say "read all".

And don't get me wrong, I like the general direction the game is taking, but sometimes it is useful to get feedback. And having to click at the game in order to get rid of the notification is one step too much for me.

My main problem so far in past games was that running games are included.

Such stuff seems minor, but all in all it improves the game and everyone has stuff which annoys him.

For example I would like to have a fixed invite list for tournaments, which I can invite with one button. Or a button to invite a complete clan at once. Seems a minor thing, but would improve my user experience.

With the exception of a couple games popping up that were over for years this update is a welcome one on my behalf. I can imagine newer players wondering where their games went, plus I like I dont have to check past games. Overhaul of the map editor was definitely needed. Good to see!

I agree with Cowboy on the down-voting front. We're all entitled to our opinions. Whoever it is doing it, pack it in. Down-voting just because you don't agree with what someone said is just abusing the voting system. 9/10 down-voted posts are sensible posts anyway and I'm sure most people click to view them, for this reason.

That aside, personally I think it's a nice update. I obsessively monitor the number of games I'm in and know when one's ended, but I understand that not everyone does this, so being made aware of ended games must be a nice feeling.

In other news, I'm proud to be one of the 1% of players still using Flash. UJS tended to lag like hell, and regularly ignored mouse clicks.

When i saw the changes on the dashboard first i thought there was some bug cause many games appeared again. Now that this 'shock' is over, i think the update is nothing bad.
