this new update where you have to watch the last turn from a game is probably the most annoying and useless update ever. now my list is full of games that i already finished. for some even games months or years ago. pls reverse this update.

Best part is when it forces you to watch a game that didnt even get past the distribution. wth am i suppose to watch there?

I think a checkbox is a good idea, and I think if the games where your opponent booted or surrendered without playing could be excluded that would improve it a lot.

@Cowboy -- Agree, but once you get through those backdated games, it will only show you the ones that have only just finished, so there won't normally be very many of them.

the thing is with this update that it forces you to do something that you dont want to do. befor this people who wanted to look at the last turn could. people who didnt wanted to do this werent bothered. NOW however *everyone* is forced to look at their last turn if they dont want to end up having a list of 200games in their front page.

And then comes the problem that there are far more important things like booting problem in ladder or the rating system in general in the ladder.

Use the filter so you only see those games where it's your turn.

Games that were more than 7 days old should have been excluded from this. However, map testing games and games that were part of tournaments still in-progress were showing up regardless of age.

I have just manually marked all of those map testing games and in-progress tournament games as viewed, so they should be gone from your list now. The only thing that remains are games from the last week, which should hopefully be a small enough list that you can just click each one off. If anyone really has so many games from the last 7 days that it's too much work to clear them, please send me mail.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I realize this update is annoying at first, but I'm confident you'll like it in the long term. Once you get your backlog cleared, I encourage you to try it for a week. If you still don't like it after that, please send me mail and let me know.

All of those ‘random’ games were just an initial side effect of the feature going live. It’s not like every day you’re gonna get 7 crazy ‘blasts from the past’ so I think there’s a lot of hyperbole going on in this thread. Keep in mind 99% of this games players aren’t super users that just know that when a game disappears from their games list it means they won or got eliminated.

what isnt an "initial side effect" is the fakt that there was put time and effort into this useless update wich could have been used to fix more important things.

How do you know he spent a lot of time and effort on this update? For all we know it took him 5 mins!
What you guys might consider useless is obviously something Fizzy prioritised for a reason. Maybe he got a lot of complaints that games disappear etc
Anyway I think it's useful since I'm always wondering where some of my games have disappeared and am searching through past games to see what happened and this will eliminate that, so thank you Fizzy.

Just be grateful that we get updates as frequently as we do this doesn't happen with all games especially with a one man outfit.

That next time you try to be sweet to Fizzer he’s gonna remember you as the kid that went ape shit over an oversight. And no, screaming about wanting other features or ‘fixes’ instead doesn’t count as criticism.

Up to this point I have always remembered how many games I had on-going (usually between 8-13). So if I get decrease in number I would know to check past games. By default I would have this option enabled, but tick-box would not do bad. My complaint would be of games which I never entered or where I was early surrendered (for FFA or multi-team games), they reappear every-time someone chats. I would like to see them only, when they end, not chat after I was eliminated or surrendered.
