Does the "in-game private message" also include team and group chats? Or just the direct player-to-player messages?

How does WA handle it when someone swaps during a tourney?
Will it actually update the tournament teams?
Or stick to whatever team people signed up as?
And in case of the latter, what if half of a tourney-team wins the game by beating the other half of their tourney-team?

Only private mail, not group chat.

It will stick to whatever team players originally signed up as. It will pick the original team with the most winners, or if tied, then just a coin flip.
