QUESTION: How does idle battle work for you on Safari or another browser?

or is IDLE BATTLE GOOD for you?

Safari has a number of known issues with idle. For examle, the "button highlight" does not work.

But lately with the lastest updates, I cannot play Idle Battle on Safari. There appears to be a memory leak. it freezes on Time Warp. Frequent DC on safari too.

This forum is to ASK people to also relate their issues playing Idle Battle on Safari or the Browser.


If you play IDLE BATTLE in Safari or another browser, please respond. Good or Issues?

Every time I tried TW in Idle Battles I would disconnect. I just stopped trying. I still disconnected often but at least it worked sometimes.

It doesn't matter what browser i use (normally Chrome on Windows), WZIB's are SUPER sluggish.

It doesn't usually DC me but I rarely win 1st place on browser unless everyone else really sucks, because as soon as I hit the insane TW, it just freezes for like 5-10secs as it tries to catch up all the attacks, then goes BONKERS crazy for a couple secs, then I usually end up in 4th place - even when I'm super powerful, deep into 4th phase, and with all insane artifacts. and if I join battles on my phone with the same powers, I either get 1st or 2nd place.

so, browsers can't handle WZIB.

I think the only way around this is to use the app on a device or the stand alone client.

I use Chrome and often disconnect after a timewarp.

This has been more noticeable since Tim Curry died.

WZIB is notoriously slow in browser. The size of your browser window (in pixels) makes a big difference, shrink it and zoom in on a blank corner for best results. Also, Idle in general seems to leak memory and get slower over time (most noticeable in the artifact window when moving them around), which also slows down WZIB. Hit F5 in the lobby between levels for an easy performance boost.
