I think that most of it is fairly self-explanatory. But how do the Notable categories work? What are they showing us?

I thought they explained themselves. Can you share the content of the ones that you're confused by here?

You know, maybe it is... at first I didn't understand that every entry under "Notable" had to do with the most contested territory. But maybe that's how it works?

Let's see:

"Notable

Most contested territory: Wuwei (changed hands 5 times)"

Very clear!

"Biggest attack - 9 armies from Yongchang attacked Liao (turn 16)"

This could be happening anywhere on the map, between the two players. Ok.

"AI 4's aggression aimed here - 41% of all their attacks"

Now I'm not so clear. Where was the AI attacking a lot? Wuwei? Liao? Somewhere else?

41% sounds really high, but maybe that's not of all the attacks they made in the game, but just attacks against me. Right?

"M. Poireau's incoming damage from here - 20% of all armies they lost defending"

Again, which territory are we talking about? Does this mean that there is a certain territory from which attacks came often, and caused 20% of my losses, overall? Or that the contested territory is the place within which 20% of my defensive losses took place?

I agree the word "here" is misleading, sorry about that. It's just trying to say that 41% of their attacks attacked this player. Not any particular location.
