All results updated and we have one winner already. With an insurmountable 3-0 lead, 1celandic Turtles proceed to Round 2 and they are joined by Porco Dio who also lead 3-0. As do X (previously known as Twitter) meaning that 3 Matches are decided with 4 to come.

Ares' win puts Dúnedain Rangers through with another unassailable 3-0 lead.

Also, please note that the route to the Final will feature ProDavid. This means that when the draw for the next Round is made we will review his game. This will continue until either the Final or until his Squad is eliminated. When he is eliminated, the Player who beats him will be featured for the next Round - this process continues right up to the Final.

X (previously known as Twitter) are the only team so far to get the granny by winning all of their Games against Flunky Fighters.

Dúnedain Rangers, 1celandic Turtles and Porco Dio remain unbeaten with Porco Dio leading 4-0 and the others leading 3-0 all having qualified for the next Round.

They are joined by Scamming Beagles who have an unassailable 3-1 lead over Flunky Foes.

This leaves two matches unresolved as we enter the final stages of this Round.

Πλαγιοκίνητοι όφεις lead Crawl 2-1 following a no-join from JayPee2028 and CORPanions lead Ταϊπάν 2-1 meaning that it is possible that all four Harmony Teams may be eliminated leaving only Κόμπρες who got a bye for Round 1.

Update...

Crawl and Ταϊπάν win to bring both scores to 2-2 in the remaining two Matches. Shortly after those Matches are concluded I will conduct the draw for the Second Round which I will do alongside the draw for Clan Teams Cup (even though those Matches are not concluded as yet).

Round 1 is now complete and boy was it interesting…..

In one of the Matches of the Round, Dúnedain Rangers hammer Εχίδνες 4-0 with one Game remaining. Slightly more predictable were the three Grannies of the Round as X, 1celandic Turtles and Porco Dio all ease through with 5-0 victories.

The other two Matches were very tight, each going to the final Game with the scores tied at 2-2. Πλαγιοκίνητοι όφεις prevail over Crawl with Trump 45 47 winning the final Game on Yorkshire Brawl. Ταϊπάν beat CORPanions with a psinoza victory on Succession Wars in the decider.

Congratulations to those who made it through this far !

Edit: Cailan's win on Yorkshire means that Dúnedain Rangers also win 5-0

Round 1 Is Now Complete

*** Any substitutions for both Clan Cup and Clan Teams Cup must be made before midnight on the evening of Friday 11 September (UK Time)***

The Squads listed in the above post are in the draw for Round 2 which will take place on Saturday at 5pm (UK Time) hosted by Kenny from Porco Dio.

Round 2 Draw

The first thing I will draw will be the eight Matches (e.g. 1celandic Turtles V Kugel).

The second thing to be drawn shall be the order for the ‘away’ Squad Players from 1 to 5. This will give us the Games. For example:

The Round 2 draw has thrown out some very interesting Matches, the highlight undoubtedly being Ταϊπάν vs 1celandic Turtles which is a repeat of last year’s Final. Will Ταϊπάν exact revenge for last Season’s loss or will 1celandic Turtles continue their unbeaten run in The Clan Cup ?

Other Matches which we should expect to be close include Dunedain Rangers vs Mind Busters where a strong TLA Team compete against Clan Wars Specialists from Myth Busters. In Round 1, Ταϊπάν beat CORPanions - Round 2 throws up another Harmony V CORP Match-up where Κόμπρες match up against CORPses - can CORPses survive or will Harmony beat CORP again ?

This Cup is brutal by design and so far that brutality continues as we play-off for a place in the Quarter Final. Good luck everyone and congratulations on making it this far.

I will be making the Games when time allows, obviously substitutions are not allowed for this Round although changes may be made in anticipation of the Quarter Finals from now.
