I just realized, that the outcome of the wheel spin is already determined, before you turn the wheel.
It happened, that my browser reloaded in that moment, when the ad, I was watching on my mobile was finished and the X appeared to close the ad.
In this moment my desktop Browser announced already, that I got 4 coins from the wheel of luck.
When I closed the ad window and turned the wheel, outcome was as predicted.
I turn the wheel on mobile always from single user settings, so that I have not to load the idle game.
Will watch this over the next days.
As i reloaded the browser app today multiple times, finished a dig, started new dig started an upgrade of 5 commons, this message was not from yesterday left. Especially, as I yesterday after turning the wheel finished two digs and started a longer for the night. So I am sure, that the yesterdays message was shown yesterday.

i mean its RNG, so, technically it wouldnt be true random either way right

edit: ohh the spin is fake, well yea i would agree. i imagine you get a value when you log in every day, and that value or number is how you get wheel result

Well no, if it isn't fake then it would be based on how you spin it, it would only be RNG if it was faked.

I usually spin manually and there have been times I try to mimic the exact spin I've done in the past. It's far from definite, but I usually get it to end up in the same general area. My record after years is 3 IMs in a row, though that was just once.

So I'm sure there's some randomness but it's definitely not all random.

Ok, So I have confirmed it today!
I reloaded my browser, after I played the Quickmatch-Game there. All clean and perfect.
Than I went to my mobile, where the single user start screen was open, and went there to Settings. Selected there the "Wheel-Spin" and watched the ad.
After the ad ended, while the ad was still visible, I went back to my Browser, reloaded and got the message: "Time Warp won"
Now closing the ad on mobile, turning the wheel, and it stopped exacly at time warp.

So the issue, that you have to turn it sometimes multiple times occurs, when the wheel animation can't stop at the already given value, without stopping to hard. That looks like luck, but the random luck function happened before, when the ad was finished.

P.S. So also Melody's idea, that the result is already set, after the last wheel was turned, may also be true. But it is for shure not a daily value, as you can turn the wheel every 20h. So, you have in a 30day month up to 36 wheel spins.

It is fake.
Absolutely.

I once played on two devices, app for idle, and browser on a different device for the games.

I won one of the games, hit the popup in the tablet app a few seconds later.
Put the tablet aside while the ad ran.
Forgot about the tablet.

10-15 minutes later: popup on the browser, that I received reward [...].
me thinking: oh yeah.
Grabbed the tablet, pressed the cross on the ad. Saw the spin wheel with message to spin wheel.

And indeed, the spin wheel returned exactly my reward.



That explains why sometimes the spin wheel seems to suddenly slam on the brakes, and at other times seems to become frictionless below a certain speed (and keeps on turning until the "predetermined reward" is below the pointer again).
