simple question: would quickMatch benefit from offering a 3-man FFA format?
my limited experience with Risk Hasbro mobile is that a 30 or 45 second clock also forces less than ideal turns to be made. definitely quick, and forces different gameplay.
kind of like speed-chess. the short clock forces errors to be made.
3man FFA is a lot less boring than 1v1, with more variables as playing against two opponents. the strategy used in 2v2 world or rome isn't that different than 1v1
world 1v1 with wastelands simply funnels players into the same areas for spawn/expansion. world 3man FFA QMatch with limited wastelands (4-5, not 10) would generate a lot more interest. esp if the clock was 60sec to start, then stretched to 90 then 120seconds after a certain number of turns.

I appreciate the reply about co-ordinated cheating, something which I hadn't considered. however, 3 man FFA as a multi-day open game that is sign-up, is a lot different than 3-man FFA that is randomly generated by QM in real time.
in my mind, if the system is busy, it's a lot easier to generate 3 random bodies into a 3-FFA game, than it is to get
two equally-paired doubles. it's a lot easier to accuse a 1v1 of being "unfair" than it is a randomly generated 3-man FFA if it's done in real-time.
i would agree, if sign-up for the 3man FFA is done in open game multi-day setup.
