Me and riskboy88 have been hosting Kabix games almost nightly. Usually these are just standard 2v2s, but at some point we got bored and wanted some variety. So we started messing with settings 🤣
At first, we just kept it 4v4, and last night we finally managed to get a 6v6 to fill. Cool, but not cool enough. We soon switched to the RoR map and managed to have the best team game of my in an awesome 4v4.
Tonight we’re hosting a 5v5, and we’re including 3 wastelands into the mix. And soon, we’re adding a late phase bomb card using mods.
We would just host them and that be it. But our larger, more chaotic games are refusing to fill in a timely manner. I suspect this is due to a lack of publicity and of a way to communicate our games effectively. Our regular players don’t participate in global chat, so we can’t really talk to them easily.
So I made a group. This will function as an easy way to spread the word when we host something, as well as providing a structured, formal community that will be easier to spread. We have our own forum that can be used for discussing ideas, plus it’s open and we’re actively encouraging our players to invite others. It will start small, but with time, I think this can be something awesome.
