it is nice to see the variations in world maps of medium and large density.
water crossings are used with and without islands.
some have antarctica, some don't.

seeing that the straight of Hormuz (10 miles across) is a choke point with global (war) implications.
has anyone thought to adjust or create variants where one can cross over from the UAE directly over to iran, rather than going by land around thru saudi arabia?



there is no "right or wrong" in template making
but in my experience the middle east is a frequent choke point.
giving a water crossing here reflects the real world and would definitely change strategy here.
