anytime you earn/dig you have to swipe. Works fine on mobile but takes too long on laptop/desktop with mouse. I really don't believe the suspense element is worthwhile

You can just wait, the sand will disappear regardless of whether you've wiped it away or not.

I would like to skip the 6 second wait after digs though, because imo its just slowing me down.
I understand why its added but I dont need it so I would like to see a setting added that can disable the sand.

There is, it’s called “Auto-Dig” in Phase 4 upgrades.

you can just move the artifact window out of the way. You can immediatly see your new artifact, when you click to the artifact button. In most cases, when this is the fifth artifact, i was waiting for, its already included in upgrade, before the sand disappears. So why bother?
