For Warlight, it was WL. For Warzone, it was WZ. War.app could thus be abbreviated WA, however WhatsApp is also abbreviated WA, which is annoying.

Another suggestion, made twice in this thread (https://war.app/Forum/875496-pronouncing-warapp) is WAP. However a notorious rapper Meghan Thee Stallion released a song called "Wet Ass Pussy", abbreviated WAP, some years ago, so that abbreviation is suspect - especially considering War.app's terms of service prohibiting "obscene, offensive, or pornographic material".

Just go back to WarLight/WL. This is yet another entry on the long list of why we should continue to use it. Everyone will know what you mean so long as we keep it alive.

If that’s not satisfactory, WARP? But the name itself is terrible and does not seem to abbreviate well. I recommend we ditch it entirely.

How one abbreviation is used in one context shouldn't determine what it means in another. Look at alternative phrases like "Keep yourself safe" that share the same acronym, for instance. The meaning is completely reversed in other uses.

WAP seems to be somewhat official because of its use in the staff clan.

Personally I prefer WL, WZ or WA. The game is still WL to me.
