Tacky and I started a Best of 11 challenge a week or so ago as part of a Discord chat. Thanks to Platinum for arranging a selection phase where we agreed to the following templates:
1. Strategic Commanders - Bodski won 2. GME III - on-going 3. Greece LD 4. Turkey LD 5. Slow Burn 6. Volcano Island 7. British Raj 8. Elitist Africa 9. Fast Earth 10. Macedonia NS
The more observant readers may notice that there are only 10 games in the above list. Once one player has 5 wins, the next game will be played on the SE1W template and will be broadcast live on the next Bodcast.
How do we compare ?
Well Tacky has much more experience and natural flair for the game, whereas I am still relatively new and tend to play in a more slow and deliberate manner. In a general sense, the community seems divided on who will prevail. Most seem to think that I will win by default due to Tacky becoming bored or distracted so losing as a result of booting or non-joining. If this happens, we should refer to it as a TACO event because Tacky Always Chickens Out.
If it is a matter of who has the better credentials, I think that Tacky does look to be the best player and many think that he has the higher ceiling. Rufus initially weighed in offering to wager 10,000 coins on me winning. This seemed to be based on me asking how OD Cards work. Nobody took the bet, but Rufus’ confidence seems to have waned somewhat after witnessing the first move in one of my 1v1 Ladder games.
What is at stake ?
The loser has to play a season of Clan Wars in the winner’s Clan.

I think Tacky is favored game 10 and 11 but I think momentum will shift to Bodski after the public beat down.
I don't have to join Harmony and if you think it's okay to follow me across multiple chats and dogpile me with insults then I don't get why you'd want me in the clan anyway. you dislike me because I reject harmony and you've coerced me into this bo11 with a stipulation you know I don't like and I've tried to be a good sport but I don't have to honor any agreement with you if you refuse to acknowledge that you did too much, and even after realizing, you joined other chats to mock me and dogpile because that's all you can do. you're a highschool bully that never grew up. you can only attack when you see someone vulnerable. you do nothing but gang up on others because that's what you enjoy. you use personal insults because you have nothing else of value to say, and you repeat the same points over and over like an hoary old man. you act all high and mighty like you're better than me, and you're so disappointed in me, and yet you jump threw all these hoops to get me to do what you want. and even when I tell you, you're wasting your time, you still go on out of desperation. wow

nah tell bodski to learn how to talk shit without letting his personal feelings do all the talking. I don't have time for someone who can't distinguish their dislike for me from the actual conversation at hand. you can say whatever you want that doesn't change how bodski thinks it's okay to talk to me. ask yourself how he says I'm a liar and no integrity and an idiot and just says it over and over and you think I want to join your clan? let's be for real here
