Is there any chance of the bonus limit going up anytime soon?
4,000 territories is a reasonable limit. I don't think we should or even could go much higher than that. But--why the bonus limit? The 1,500 limit it's at now prevents true diplomacy 1-territory-per-bonus style maps from reaching their full potential. Currently, Belgian Gentleman's 1,477 territory diplomacy map is the largest true diplo map--to my knowledge.
Colossal Earth is 4,000 territories. The games that could be played if it could be fitted to a diplo layout would be insane.
Yes, bonus links would become crowded, but that's an issue for mapmakers to solve themselves.
Since Imgur has decided to make itself unavailable in the UK, and that doesn't look likely to change anywhen soon, which alternative website would you rather I uploaded a screenshot to if I were to find a bug in future? The most recent bug I reported was uploaded to PostImages, but it wasn't until I clicked on that link in Chrome, after reading your reply, that I noticed it was over the top with adverts. When I uploaded it in Firefox, I didn't notice that because I have uBlock Origin in Firefox.
For those of you who aren't aware the reason Imgur decided to make itself unavailable in the UK is because of the Online Safety Act, which is a law in the UK written by small-brained politicians. Imgur didn't want to introduce ID based age-verification in order to view pornographic content, so decided that they would rather just not be available in the UK.
Before anyone says about VPNs, hosting content that encourages users to use VPNs to get around the Online Safety Act is itself a violation of the Online Safety Act. Not to worry however, because I have a magical ability o teleport to other countries, which I use to view images on Imgur that other people have uploaded. However, when I use this magical teleport to go to another country and try to upload an image, Imgur always seems to mistake my magical teleporting ability for me using a VPN and prevents me from uploading.
^ I use Postimage. Been my go-to image hosting platform forever. I use Librewolf with uBO as well as mobile Safari with uBOL on top of DNS filtering to make the web usable. I also have the ability to magically teleport for brief periods of time.
I noticed an inconvenient thing with mods adding custom cards. Most of the time cards give you 1 piece a turn guaranteed. When you add/remove a build-in card, the game automatically updates the number of pieces awarded each turn setting.
When a mod adds a custom card however, this doesn't happen. Then you get the alert that the number of pieces awarded each turn setting is less than the number of pieces you would be given by all cards combined when you try to launch the game.
Can this be fixed in some way? If needed, I can give you a better explanation + a step-by-step approach that leads to this problem. Thanks in advance! :)
Another question regarding custom cards. Custom cards that have a duration only show up in the Active Cards dialog when they are played by you, but not if they are played on you. This can be confusing, if something happens with you.
Can you allow mods to enter which players are involved in a card, apart from the player playing the card? This would also be a nice QoL fix :)
