Hello.

How does the picking spots on a map work? Specifically, what is the order that someone gets a spot?

Scenario: Each player gets 1 pick on a large map with 50+ various spots they can pick. There are 2 teams of 4 on each team. Team A and Team B. Team A has players A1, A2, A3, and A4. Team B has players B1. B2. B3, and B4. All 8 players pick the same spot as their 1st pick. What determines who gets that spot?

The order for picks is the same as with normal moves, so in a way you can consider picking turn 0.

If the game uses (normal) cyclic move order, the first turn the order is randomized, and gets reversed for every turn after.

If its pure skill move order, the first turn isn't randomized but decided by which team picked the fastest (note: the slowest player in the team is the time that is used for the entire team). After the first turn, the order reverses itself every turn like normal.

If its random move order, who gets first move is randomized every single turn.

For 2 teams of 4, i believe move order is A1 B1 B2 A2 A3 B3 B4 A4 | A4 B4 B3 A3 A2 B2 B1 A1
(And if not, I'm sure someone smarter will correct me 😅)
