Hi folks - you will have to indulge me, as I cannot seem to find a straight answer to my biggest question. When I super ascend (which I am finally, after like 3 years, on the verge of doing), do I lose all my acquired AP? Or do they carry over, and I simply just have to reselect the advancements I want again? Cause if I lose all those APs that would break my heart. Already bad enough I lose most of my artifacts. Speaking of which, what is your advice on which artifact I should upgrade to 'insane': the Army Camp Boost, the Army Cache Boost, or the Alloy Value? I can only boost one to that level, the others would stay at 'legendary' (I think I will choose the 'bring 3 artifacts with you' option when I super ascend. I'm also not part of any clan - not sure whether I should join one or not...anyhoo any advice to the queries above from you folks would be greatly appreciated. Thx!

There are some guides that provide a lot of guidance for some of these questions. Here is one https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/1EHCM-n_4vq_Hv7V1wo9QSTcRP2ba4qRqBh8fOh5PiKk/mobilebasic

Yes, you lose all your AP so that you can get the AP back… slightly faster. For the artifacts, insane army cache boost is the clear answer and carry over that with a leg alloy value. Guides say don’t bother getting the AV to insane and you want to pick the 25% in the first super ascend since you lose all the AP.

Clans help with idle rewards (CW idle rewards are pretty good) and some do other activities but depends on the clan and what you enjoy in the game

1. Yes, you lose absolutely everything except 2 artifacts + whatever bonus you select. It’s like starting again.

2. You don’t need to super ascend, you can continue playing without ever doing this (or you can quit!). Super ascending is simply an option which is available to players who feel they have nothing else to do in the game.

3. Army Cache Boost is the best Insane for 99% of players who have the goal to beat levels and collect AP quickly. If you are in the 1% with goals more aligned to winning WZI Battles or granting clan requests, it might be something else instead.

Doesn't super ascending unlock the new maps?

Yes, the first Super Ascension unlocks a few new maps, which you will most likely not play until you've ascended a few times again (the first "new" lvl is annoying - no market to get money)

Hi folks - you will have to indulge me, as I cannot seem to find a straight answer to my biggest question. When I super ascend (which I am finally, after like 3 years, on the verge of doing), do I lose all my acquired AP?

Your AP and your level rewards like +% copper, tin, iton, etc and fourth boy all reset and you have to earn them again.

Or do they carry over, and I simply just have to reselect the advancements I want again?

You have to earn and reselect them again.

Cause if I lose all those APs that would break my heart.

I personally hoped for an extra fourth boy every super and more powers but I was sadly disappointed too.

Already bad enough I lose most of my artifacts.

Under perfect conditions you can merge them so you don't waste any but yes going from 10+ you might use regularly to 2 or 3 until you dig them back up is pain.

Speaking of which, what is your advice on which artifact I should upgrade to 'insane': the Army Camp Boost, the Army Cache Boost, or the Alloy Value?

If it has been three years you likely don't remember how slow it was when you first started. It will pretty much be that slow again. I would almost think you can make a LAV by the time you will really need it.

Army camp boost will help but not much. SAC is fine at poor for clan requests. HB does really help until you get pretty deep which you should be able to make a rare by the time you need it. CB is something to get after you max your A$B.

Finally you have the question do you want TW so you can TS, SAC, TW, TS, SAC wait 8 hrs with clan reward and repeat or use a A$B. Early on I preferred the TW for the extra digs i.e. I had 40 hr days compare to 28 for others. Other people love A$B. Maybe it depends if you play a little bit several times a day vs all the time?

I can only boost one to that level, the others would stay at 'legendary' (I think I will choose the 'bring 3 artifacts with you' option when I super ascend.

The first decision is what is your endgame? Do you want 42 Insane artifacts or +150,000 AP? Do you just want access to the extra levels?

You will need to super several times to pick up the 42 Insanes so you will need plus slots plus 25% AP to make getting them faster and faster dig time. It might be worth it to pick dig speed off the bat as you will be spending a ton of time doing your 2nd super.

You will need to super 1500 times plus artifact slot or 25% AP are good choices. Honestly, I am not convinced either one is better. You will gain speed having a third artifact just like having 25% Ap gains you speed.

If you are only doing it once well the only benefit would be dig speed once you get back up to full AP.

I'm also not part of any clan - not sure whether I should join one or not

If you play idle than you should be in a clan. Clan requests are very helpful. The clan rewards are very helpful. If you win one game of clan war every three weeks you get free artifacts and coins. Most of the top 9 will take just about anyone. Look I am in a clan so I prove my point:)

I superascended for the first time just over two months ago, and in the months before that, I too had a lot of questions. I talked about it in Global Chat and in Clan Chat, and my fellow clan members were very helpful.

I didn't blindly do all that they recommended. I have my own goals, and own style of playing. I won't bother explaining, because this is about what you want, not me. Just keep in mind what you want, and decide accordingly.

My decision? I superascended with an insane A$B, legendary AV and legendary TW and haven't regretted it ever since.

Yes, you lose all your AP and every reward you got for finishing levels. You can earn all of them again. And to put it in perspective: I spent just over a year before superascending. I'm doing it all over again, starting with just these three artifacts. And all the powers that I claimed already from the levels don't come back either; however, I've saved up a whole lot of them.

So, what does this mean? Well, I'm in Phase 4 now and if I want to, I can superascend again in a few days, with another legendary. It's really a whole lot faster the second time around!
