Congratulations to rakleader for winning today and to Beep Beep I'm A Jeep for his runner-up finish! It's been an exciting tournament with plenty of surprises and epic matches!
The number of runner-up finishes is counted behind the slash. For the ranking, generally, the number of wins will be considered; only the ranking of players without any wins or an equal number of wins will be based on the number of runner-up finishes.
For example: A player with 6 runner-up finishes will be ranked ahead of a player with 5 runner-up finishes, but behind a player with 1 win.
This statistic is intended to be updated after every tournament in a new post. Inform me about any errors or lacking data. In the event that there will be a yearly final tournament among the best winners, this ranking will be used to determine who qualifies.
In case of a tie, the most recent winner will be preferred. There will never be two players with the same rank. For players without any win, the recency of the last runner-up finish decides.
I'll share next week's template here once the winner picks one. By the way: The winner being in charge doesn't mean you can't express your wishes! Template ideas are more than welcome in this thread.
Next week's template is going to be French Brawl! Being a light fog templates, it will allow you to watch ongoing games of other players; a particularly popular feature for RT tournaments.
Titled Tuesdays tournaments attract heavy hitters from the strategic community, so for most players, winning a tournament is not realistic. I don't want this to prevent them from receiving a certificate for their efforts, considering this is a novelty of this competition.
Therefore, I would like to introduce the possibility for other players who are proud of their result to receive a certificate too. This can be done for a runner-up, a semifinalist, or a quarterfinalist, provided that the result at hand is a significant success for the particular player as deemed by me.
If you feel this is about you and you are interested in a certificate, tell me an address and which tournament finish you would like honoured!
Congratulations to Rufus, the first player to win multiple tournaments! He will get to pick a template another time. I have scored the runner-up spot today, in a really enjoyable final game. Thanks to every participant for making this a great competition!
