So you are saying that there will be more than 10 clans fighting on Division D? I thought you would set up a Division E seeing that at the current 33 signups, Div E could have 5 clans (same amount Div D had last season).

Could you clear that up, please?

i think the fairest way to do it is have two div D, like a div D1 and div D2, div D clans put in at random, and then the top half from each makes it to cl17 div D, the bottom half of each makes it to cl17 div E, and the first from each, instead of the two first, promote, so we still have 2 promotions to cl17 div C

We have currently 11 completely new clans without any seeding criteria. It doesn't seem right to put some clans randomly in a higher D Division and some randomly in a lower E Division.

It seems most likely that we are going to split the Division D in a few equivalent groups and assign the clans randomly to it.

Goal it must be to have an overlapping criteria too, that allows us to determine seeds in order to assign this clans next season. This is what we need to specify now, before the season starts.

I wholeheartedly believe there gonna be div E this season

you can't just randomly split new clans between D and E, there shouldn't be a div E

I am delighted to see how many new clans have expressed interest in CL

34 Clans are it at the moment and there are a few more I know of who are working on to get things organized.

As JK said it remains a question, if the new clans can field a roster/lineup in time and dont end up booting out on multiple templates. To expect that every clan plays till the end, would be too much of an expectation for a first season. So if you stick to play, you should do well actually.

Just recently I had a talk and remembered how HAWKS started into Clan League 7. In 3x 1v1 tournaments we booted every single game. At the end we still got 2nd last. That should not be a primary goal for the new clans to start like this. But shows half the part is sticking to it.
