What would you consider a low boot rate?

(I'm not applying, just interested.)

Not a member of Olympus (this is my only clanned account, although I have an low-level alt that I use for 1v1 auto games because people take longer to join when they see L57) but I've frequently played with them. One thing that surprised me about the clan is that they're all very active- I set up a 17v17 between CORP and Olympus and didn't expect to get full participation from either clan but within 24 hours all 17 of them had joined. They're a good environment for strategic (especially team) games.

Can I Join ?

8% is reasonable. Don't act like it is absurd.

8% is actually not that low of a bootrate for a strategic clan. It means that you've been booted from nearly 1/10 of your games (ignoring AI situations), which is a lot.

We prefer players with Low boot-rates so that our team players don't get let down it tournaments, clans games or team games. The most frustrating thing is losing because a player has not joined a game that they've invited to or they've been booted, especially when they've been active for example 3 hours ago. Saying this if we believe we think you would be a good fit in a fun team clan and your boot-rate is that tiny bit over, ask talk to Hera or myself I am not as active on war light. Also when I first joined and I played I joined a lot of games and couldn't keep up, so I was booted from a lot of games but I did try and lower it to a respectable level. My Boot- rate was as high as 50% just a warning players aren't super active in clan forum but we have a clan chat, I'm sure if you posted on it you would get a reply very quick.

^ Can confirm. Created a team game with literally all of Olympus and they joined within a day.

Would I be a suitable member?
I am an almost expert in Diplomacy, I host three of my own scenario's weekly.
I haven't played a good 1 vs 1 for half a year now... But I did play some 1 vs 1's against newbie friends and won all of them.

So what do you say Hera, am I suitable or not?
(Note: I probably won't join since I am kinda of the Chancellor of [NL] DF)

You have a low boot rate, a nice high level As long As you were active I would be happy to have you and as you are experienced in clans I think you would be a good addition.

Ditto Lord Jayko. (that is, just curious, not actually likely to join) I have a high bootrate from my early games, but am currently very active, play multiple (and even make a few) diplomacy games, am active in the 2v2 and seasonal ladders, and have been in the 1v1 and RT ladders.

Also, just as a note of curiosity, how is it that you have 19 members and only half of the Big 12 are taken?

8%? guess I'm out the clan aha. Well I'm guessing it's because the ones that aren't taken are mostly goddesses and so the high ratio of guys to girls in this game means the Gods are more popular.
