Your Block List contains players that you prefer not to interact with on War.app.
You can add a player to your Block List by visiting their profile page and selecting Add this player to my Block List. You can remove players from your Block List via the same link or at the Manage Block List page.
Effects
Players on your Block List are subject to the following restrictions:
Games and Tournaments
- Games you create with Open Seats will not appear for them on the Open Games page.
- If they obtain a direct link to one of your open games, they still cannot join it.
- Open tournaments you create will not appear for them on the Open Tournaments page.
- If they obtain a direct link to one of your tournaments, they still cannot join it.
Visibility
- A small B icon appears next to blocked players in game lobbies and game screens.
- A small B icon also appears on their entries in the Open Games and My Games pages, making it easier to identify games that include blocked players.
- Chat messages they post in games and tournaments are hidden by default. A link is provided if you wish to reveal the message.
Social Features
- They cannot send you Friend requests.
- They cannot invite you to a team Ladder.
- If they have Manager Rights within a Clan, they cannot invite you to join that clan.
Privacy
In most situations, blocked players are not notified that they have been added to your Block List.
However, they may discover this if:
- They attempt to join an open game that you created.
- They attempt to join an open tournament that you created.
- They attempt to send you a Friend request.
Because blocked players cannot see your open games or tournaments in public listings, these situations are relatively uncommon.
Matchmaking
The Block List does not affect matchmaking systems, including:
- Ladder
- Quickmatch
- Coin Games
Blocked players may still be matched with you through these systems.
This restriction exists to prevent players from manipulating ratings by blocking highly skilled opponents or selectively avoiding certain players.
