Restart App

This page explains how to restart the War.app mobile app.

Normally, it should not be necessary to restart it. However, if you run into a bug, it can sometimes help to work around the issue. Please be sure to report all bugs at https://www.war.app/ReportBug!

Android

1. Press your Home button
2. Go to Settings
3. Tap Applications
4. Tap Manage applications
5. Tap War.app
6. Tap Force Stop

iOS 7 or higher

1. Press the home button to go to the home screen
2. Double-tap the home button
3. Locate War.app in the scrolling list, and swipe it "up" to get rid of it
4. Tap the home button to return to the home screen

iOS 6 or lower

1. Press the home button to go to the home screen
2. Double-tap the home button
3. Tap and hold your finger over the War.app app that appears along the bottom of the screen until the red icons appear
4. Tap the red icon that appears next to the War.app app. It should disappear.
5. Press the home button
6. Press the home button again to close the bottom menu
