{"id":1053,"date":"2014-08-09T13:49:58","date_gmt":"2014-08-09T13:49:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.warlight.net\/?p=1053"},"modified":"2014-12-19T02:49:01","modified_gmt":"2014-12-19T02:49:01","slug":"season-xvi-no-split-mode","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/war.app\/blog\/index.php\/2014\/08\/season-xvi-no-split-mode\/","title":{"rendered":"Season XVI: No-split mode"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Congrats to <a href=\"http:\/\/warlight.net\/LadderTeam?LadderTeamID=5415\">JV<\/a> for winning Season XV with a very impressive 18-2 record!<\/p>\n<p>Season XVI will introduce a new, never-before-seen setting that&#8217;s exclusive to the seasonal ladder: No-split mode!<\/p>\n<h1>No-split Mode<\/h1>\n<p>No-split mode is simple.  In games where it is enabled, all attack\/transfer orders must use every army available.  When issuing an attack or transfer, there won&#8217;t even be a slider available to choose the number of armies:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d32kaghj56y4ei.cloudfront.net\/static\/img\/NoSplit2.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In other words, if you have a big stack of armies, it isn&#8217;t possible to split that stack into smaller stacks.  They must stay together forever.  This changes the game&#8217;s strategy quite a bit, since you need to be conscious of when you want to combine armies onto the same territory.<\/p>\n<p>The settings are similar to Strategic 1v1, except on the Modified Medium Earth map and of course, no-split mode.
